
There are four municipal parks in the village of Baldwin:
Bailey Park, named after Baldwin's founder, D. R. Bailey, coversone acre on the east end of Main Street. Picnic tables anda shelter, grill, parking area, a gazebo and playground equipmentare available at the site. With a reputation as the "villagegreen," Bailey Park is used for passive recreation, as well asfestival activities.

Windmill Park is a two acre facility located at the southern endof Baldwin along Highway 63. Named for the Dutch windmill which was constructed in 1987 at the entrance to the site, the park has asmall stream running along its northern boundary. Picnic tables,parking area, rest rooms and playground equipment are available,as well as an informational center within the windmill which isopen seven days a week, 11 AM to 5 PM, Memorial Day through LaborDay.
Located just to the east of Baldwin, between the railroad tracks and east Maple Street, Mill Pond Park covers nine acres. This is the major general use park in the village with alighted softball field, concession stand, bleachers, hockey rink and a recreational skatingrink, picnic pavilion and parking area.
Little Creek Park, Baldwin's newest, is located on 6th Avenue, between Franklin and Hillcrest Streets. Playground equipment, sandbox, basketball hoop and picnic tablesmake this small park a quaint place to spend some leisure time, especially with children. Laborwas donated by local residents, making it a fun project.
A variety of recreational opportunities are available at three additional parks within a 25-mileradius of Baldwin. Willow River State Park is to the west, near Hudson; Eau Galle Recreationarea is to the south, near Spring Valley; and Glen Hills Park is to the north near Glenwood City. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails, tent camping and RV hookups, fishing, hunting, swimming andother outdoor sports.
Summer recreation and sports programs sponsored by the village take place at schools within theBaldwin-Woodville district, which also operates Baldwin's community outdoor swimming pool.
Six golf courses are within minutes of Baldwin, and bicycling is a popular past-time on severalmiles of trails developed by St. Croix County.
Winter sports include hockey and pleasure skating, snowmobiling and cross country skiing.
